The announcement from the WA Tourism Awards confirms Cape2Camp as the Gold Winner, with HeliSpirit receiving Silver and Off The Beaten Track WA receiving Bronze. This honour places Cape2Camp among Western Australia’s strongest adventure tourism operators.
The award reflects the heart of Cape2Camp’s work. We focus on accessible adventure, steady support, and meaningful time in nature. Our team guides self-guided, multi-day hiking experiences along two of Western Australia’s most iconic long-distance trails:

The night marked an important moment for Cape2Camp. Gold in Adventure Tourism brings great pride to our team, and we now prepare to represent Western Australia at the Nationals. Our values — Care, Connection, Conservation, and Challenge — guide every part of the experience we offer. These values shape the way we support walkers and the way we care for the landscapes we walk through.
I feel deep gratitude for the support we receive from our community. Your stories, your reviews, and your return visits helped build Cape2Camp from its earliest days. The idea began in April 2023, and the progress since then feels remarkable.
Tourism brings many lessons. The greatest lesson comes from the privilege of sharing people’s best moments on the track, under the stars, and close to nature. Cape2Camp stands as my happy place and has become a happy place for many others. I feel proud of what we have created together.
The Adventure Tourism category highlights operators who give visitors genuine outdoor challenges and strong nature-based experiences. HeliSpirit and Off The Beaten Track WA received well-earned recognition this year:
